EMBASSY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, TRIPOLI

Ambassador Samaila Goni Mohammed, mni, Head of Mission, Embassy of Nigeria, Tripoli, Libya, paid a courtesy visit on the Head of International Organization, Ministry of Interior, Mr. Abdulatti Khalifa Salim, on Tuesday 21st April, 2026. Discussions focused on strategy to further strengthening collaboration between Nigeria & Libya.

The Embassy of Nigeria, Tripoli, Libya in collaboration with the host authorities facilitated the repatriation of 309 vulnerable Nigerian migrants from Libya o Nigeria, on Wednesday, 15th April, 2026.

Ambassador Samaila M. Goni, mni, Head of Mission, Embassy of Nigeria, Tripoli, Libya, paid a condolence visit to the Algerian Ambassador in Libya for the death of the former President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Lamin Zeroual. Today Thursday, 2nd April, 2026.

The Embassy of Nigeria, Tripoli, in collaboration with the IOM and the host authorities facilitated the repatriation of 178 vulnerable Nigerian migrants from Tripoli, Libya to Lagos, Nigeria on Monday 30th March,2026.The exercise was administered through the IOM Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) programs.
